I'm a nurse and during the course of the day, I hand out a lot of tissues! I know what a regular tissue feels like, and there is no doubt in my mind that Puffs Plus Lotion Facial Tissues, are softer than regular tissues, especially industrial supply stock tissues.
If money is no object, these are the way to go. If, however, you are on a budget - you might have to economize and go with something more affordable to dab your nose with. At the current advertised price of these tissues - a cube of 168 facial tissues costs over $4 each. That's almost 3 cents per tissue, which is, in my opinion, a bit too much to pay for things so disposable.
Of course, these tissues are marketed in various packaging designs and sizes, so do the math according to which ever unit you are buying, and perhaps some packages offer more tissues per package, and therefore a better deal.
As a nurse, my advice would be to treat the symptoms of a cold or allergy, to avoid the sore nose syndrome in the first place, when possible. Once you get to the point of having a raw nose from blowing it too frequently - no tissue is going to help you avoid discomfort - no matter how much lotion is in there.
In summary, these tissues are softer than regular tissues. But cost more. So if you can afford it - go for it.
