Product Reviews of Prowash Activewear 2X Liquid Detergent, 24-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 3)Product Review: 2 reviews in one Summary: 2 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
I'm going to give 2 reviews here - one for the product, and one for the packaging:
This product arrived in a plastic pouch and never gave the amount (20 mls or 1/2 cup or whatever) instead it wanted you to pour till a line in the clear window of the pouch was reached, but you couldn't see the line as you were pouring, and the flimsy (environmentally friendly) pouch kept moving, and in the end it was far too easy to spill the liquid and pour too much. So it ended up not being as environmentally friendly as it wanted to be. I would rate the packaging 2 stars.
The product, which is a washing machine liquid, said it specialized in sports clothes and getting rid of odor. Actually, I've not had a problem getting smells out of my clothes, my problem is salad dressing stains. The sheets came out smooth and sweet smelling but my husband's work shirts did not come out especially clean, it wasn't very good for food stains. So I would rate the product 2.5 stars.
I would consider buying it again if it came with a measuring cup (or at least a recommended measuring amount!) or had some change to the pouch arrangement, but not as is.
Product Review: A genuine performance detergent Summary: 4 Stars

I think I ran this detergent through one of the worst tests I could possibly think of, my work shirt. This is the shirt that I do EVERYTHING in. I just finished up changing the timing belt, oil, and many other related parts on my car, all while wearing this work shirt. By the time I was done it went from a white/yellow plaid to black and brown.
So I took my shirt, tossed it in the washing machine, added the recommended amount of detergent (using cold water) and waited. Halfway through the cycle I took a peak in the machine and the water was a disgusting murky brown. Once it finished the cycle I took it outside and let it air dry. Once it was fully dry I was blown away! My work shirt looked brand new! The slight fragrance that the detergent left was not unpleasant and the amazing thing was that the nap of the fabric had been lifted up and shirt was soft even though no fabric softener was used!
My only complaint about the detergent is the container it's in, it makes it kinda hard to use even though it looks cool.
Great detergent that was able to remove the worst of anything I could throw at it.
Pros:
Removes grease, dirt, oil, and other automotive related chemicals with ease.
Lifted up the nap of the fabric and made the clothing VERY soft to the touch.
Works perfectly fine in cold water!
Cons:
Container design is awkward to use.
Smell is a bit strong right out of the bottle, but doesn't saturate the clothing.

I used Prowash Activewear 2X Liquid Detergent on my friend's uniforms. They are well-worn, and they have been washed repeatedly in every detergent on the market with similarly poor results. Nothing seems to work well enough to satisfy my definition of clean.
Since they absolutely cannot be laundered with bleach, I despaired of ever getting them fresh. (I should also add that they weren't new when he got them!)
I am delighted to report that the lingering odor that re-appears after every washing is now gone. I can't wait to use Prowash Activewear on the rest of my laundry.
This is great stuff, and highly recommended!
Product Review: Absolutely works for athletic wear Summary: 5 Stars
I exercise and I sweat. A lot. Over time, the capilene shirts I wear have developed a distinctive odor of their very own. (All of you other capilene wearers know what I mean). I was really close to tossing out my synthetic sports wear and moving to wool because the smell was driving me bananas. After reading through detergent reviews (yes, that's how much the smell was bothering me) on Amazon, I decided to try out Prowash and am very, very happy that I did. It absolutely got that funky smell out of my capilene.
I should mention that I only use Prowash for my athletic wear. I don't use it on any of my other clothing, nor do I use it to try to get out stains. I've only used it to remove that weird odor that seems to build up in athletic wear over time. Also, the Prowash pouches I received all had measuring cups attached so that measuring out the correct quantity of detergent to use was very easy.
Product Review: Better than my usual detergent.. Summary: 5 Stars
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
At first I was a bit apprehensive about even using this detergent. The consistency of the liquid is thinner than my usual detergent. Also, the packaging is "flimsier", but less filling for the local waste yard, so that's a good thing.
I used this on two very large smelly loads which included clothes from: My morning 90 minute workouts, my 5 hour motorcycle ride around SoCal and my husbands jogging and work clothes and also my yoga workout clothes. I wanted to see if there was a difference between the smell and appearance of our workout clothes.
The smill of Pro Wash was more pleasant than my other detergent. I liked the fact that it smelled clean and fresh and not like perfume. The change in appearance was not apparent after washing only one load. Maybe after washing an item 10-12 times?
For athletic clothes (mine can be nauseating!) this worked for me getting the clothes smelling clean and fresh.
