I had no idea I could buy this myself as a regular consumer and happened to come across it by accident in an alternative medicine magazine. I was introduced to Light/Sound therapy through a doctor that gave me neurofeedback treatment. The therapy using both at the same time was absolutely euphoric..truly synergistic. The combo was so good, that when she would leave the room during my sessions, I'd turn up the intensity of the light and try turning it back to the original intensity when she would return -- she could always tell though LOL!
What I like about the Proteus is not just its low price, but that it goes up to 50 hz, the rest of them only go up to 30, 40 or 42 hz. A couple of minutes of 50 hz is WAY better than a cup of coffee or can of red bull.. it also gets you focused.
