these filters are easy to see and change. They tear easily when wet, so you have to be careful replacing the water container each time, however, that's probably feedback better for the humidifier than the filter. I used to be able to find these at general retailers, however, the ones in my area stopped carrying the model I needed. The ones ordered from Amazon shipped fast!
