Customer Review: Love Pro Bars, But Just a Bad Flavor...

As I mentioned in my comment on the previous negative review for this item, I actually love Pro Bars (Koka Moka, Superfood Blend, Art's Original Blend, & Whole Berry Blast, especially). But, I must say, I share the general feeling of disgust that seems to be unanimous over this Cherry Pretzel flavor. It's gross! I was forced into eating it because I was sick and without appetite and really wanted a Pro Bar (meal replacement) so I wouldn't be lacking on nutrients, but unfortunately the only flavor sold by the most convenient store was Cherry Pretzel. Even as a major "health food" fanatic, my, I found it awful. I soon pawned it off on my mother who later commented that it tasted like soap! Again, love Pro Bars and the whole foods idea behind them, but this flavor is just a "miss." Key suggestion: if you found this flavor disgusting, I strongly recommend avoiding those bars in their newer "Sweet & Savory" line altogether and instead trying the Original bars (including the great ones I mentioned above; they're delicious!) Lists of flavors in both categories are on their web site. The sweet/savory thing just doesn't seem to work.
