This is a fast and easy way to keep the water in a 2-gallon sized humidifier clean and relatively free of mold or mineral deposits during seasonal use. It may not be 100% effective, but I noticed a big difference from last year (before I started to use this). The cartridges are inexpensive and I change them once a month for 4 months during the winter season - frees me up to just do the major manual cleaning before I put the humidifier away for the season. I'm glad I discovered this product - now I don't dread the maintenance.Product Review: This is great!

Before I found these I was always replacing filters because they would look disgusting. Since I started using these cartridges my filters last longer and I'm saving a lot of money! And it's extremely easy to use. Just drop one in the tank! I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with a humidifier!Product Review: WAY better than bacteriostat
