This hamstring wrap works perfectly. The unique feature is that it has two velcro straps which make it easy to apply and allows the wearer to tighten the wrap to their specific needs. The velcro is also very strong so there is not a problem with the wrap coming undone until you are ready to remove it. I would definitely recommend this product.Product Review: Hastens Recovery Time

My husband suffered a hamstring injury while playing tennis. With the aid of this compression wrap he was able to return to the courts after 2 weeks. Normal recovery time is 4 - 6 weeks. The wrap now helps him to avoid a re-occurrence. To avoid slippage, a suggestion is to put the wrap on your thigh and then retighten the lower velcro strap. After injuring my hamstring, I attempted to rest and ice for nearly 10 days and saw no imrovement. I still couldn't walk without a limp, so I purchased this brace and wore it all day for 3 days straight. The compression was enough so that I could immediately walk without pain and after 3 days, my leg was back to normal. Couldn't have got back to athletics without it.
One minor side effect: watchout for the seams on the product - I had some irritation on the skin from the glue used. Still wasn't enough to deter me from using it.
