This product is absorbant and comfortable to the touch. It cleans well. However, due to the slickness of one of the layers, it moves across the bed and bunches up under the invalid. It would be a fine product for those who move very little.Product Review: Comfortable to Sleep On

After recently undergoing prostrate cancer surgery I wanted some extra protection, but did not want disposable pads as they are not environmentally friendly, nor are they that comfortable. I bought 3 of these (some backup) and they fit well on the bed and are heavy enough that they don't move around a lot. The also wash and dry well in the machines. We bought two of these sheet protectors for my mom, who is suffering from adult onset dementia. They keep her dry and comfortable, they protect the bed and save us from washing the sheets every time she forgets to get up to go to the bathroom AND they don't smell much when soiled. They wash well in the washer and dryer. We recommend them.
