Product Reviews of Pretty Pushers Disposable Delivery/Labor Gown, I Dream of SushiProduct Review: They worked great during and after my delivery. Summary: 5 Stars
I bought two of these. They came promptly, which was good since I went into labor 2 weeks early. It was great to be able to just open the front and not have to lift up my entire gown or change positions when the nurse or midwife wanted to monitor the baby. I wore the gown during the majority of my labor and in the room afterwards. (I didn't wear it during the actual pushing phase because I didn't wear anything) In my room, I wore one of the hospital gowns for awhile but found it to be really annoying. To breastfeed you had to untie and retie all these scratchy strings down the sleeve of the "gown" and of course it completely hung open in the back. I was glad I had a second one to change into. With the pretty pusher, I could just slip the halter top over my head or push it to the side. In the future, I would have sewn up the back slit just a couple of inches so that the top of my underwear didn't show. Otherwise, the fit was fine. After coming home from the hospital, my mother sewed up the front of the gowns to use as nursing nightgowns. I don't expect them to last forever since they are meant to be disposable, but they have survived several washes well enough. Besides the practical aspects of the gowns, they were really cute. Hospital gowns make me feel like an invalid.
Product Review: WONDERFUL! Summary: 5 Stars
When in labor, it is so nice to feel pretty. I got Soooo many compliments on this gown! The whole nursing staff loved it and said it was perfect for delivery. If I have more children, I will buy again!
Product Review: Worked Great Summary: 5 Stars
I liked this gown, it was great to have something that I could wear during labor. I did at first have a little problem figuring out how to put it on while I was in labor but once on it worked.
I did end up with a epi and the doc was able to do it without me undressing. It pretty much kept clean except for a little gel from the monitors so I washed it and will consider reusing with my next labor!
Product Review: cute Summary: 3 Stars
Although it looked kind of complicated with all the ties, the dress was very cute, especially when compared to the gowns they offer in the hospital. Unfortunately, I'm only giving it 3 stars because I didn't get a chance to wear it. I delivered early and unexpectedly and didn't have the dress in time. To be honest though, I could've cared less about what I was wearing, there were so many other things going on!
Product Review: intro to my baby Summary: 4 Stars
I was looking around at stores and various websites and i finally found this gown. It was alot less expensive then all the other gowns that i had priced. it took less then a week to recieve it. My only concern was that in the picture it did not show that there was two cutout holes on the front of the gown.
