I have been using a TENS unit for shoulder pain for 2 years. I used alcohol until I purchased the TENS Clean-Cote recently. The TENS Clean-Cote protect my skin - my electrodes stick better and last longer. I sleep with the TENS on my shoulder and the pads stay in place so much better when using the TENS Clean-Cote, allowing the TENS to do what it is supposed to do - control pain. It is different from alcohol.
