Recommended by my local foot specialist, these inserts really help in my battle with plantar fasciatis. You may have to get accustomed to them by wearing them only a few hours at a time at first. Need to replace them at least every 6 months. But, they really do the trick. I put them in all my shoes, replacing the original liner. These have helped my knee pain by giving me proper arch support. My only concern is that they just aren't wide enough for some of my sneakers. I even ordered up a size thinking it would help, but it didn't. If you have a narrow or normal width foot, you should be great.Product Review: Planar Faciitis Good-bye

I have struggled for nearly a year with planar faciitis. Mostly what irritates it is playing/coaching soccer. My massage therapist suggested these inserts after I had tried several other items and techniques including but not limited to an elastic band for the arch, sleeping in the boot (that did help but did not eliminate it), etc. Though at the start of a run my arches can get a fatigued feeling early when using the inserts, it eventually goes away and I feel no arch pain after my activity. I have since bought 5 more pairs for every pair of shoes I wear. They work best when you take the original insole out.Product Review: Powerstep,bought at Amazon.com Works!

What an amazing value. I was so surprised by the quality of the construction and durability. I suffer from high arches, plantar fasciitis, and heel pain. The supports are very sturdy but I did not experience and "breaking in" pain. They performed well from day 1. At the same time I purchased a new pair of skechers Skechers Women's Premium SneakerI removed the factory insert the shoes came with and slid the powersteps right in and they fit perfectly. What a perfect combination for happy nurse feet.
