I bought these to insert into a slip on shoe (no laces) that I wear quite often because they're so convenient to slip on & off. These shoes, however, had little arch support. These orthotics do provide arch support & do slip into the shoe fairly easily (without trimming) but they fill up the shoe cavity a little too much. The top of my foot rubs against the sides and top of the shoe cavity, so it's not as comfortable as I thought it would be. I believe they make a thinner version and if I had it to do over I would probably try those.
