Customer Review: A little overrated IMHO

so i read the rave reviews, and went to the grocery store to buy a 5 pack before buying from amazon to see if the reviews were right on. Long story short, buy the bar if it fills your nutritional needs, not for taste. I do agree it is better than a normal protein bar. but to say that its just like a candy bar is a little bit of a stretch. peanuts are not bursting out of the bar like depicted in the picture, and its not crunchy, and contains way more calories than the normal bars i eat. if i had the choice between the caramel peanut fusion and snickers... i would choose snickers based off of taste. i eat bars all the time... granola, fiber, etc. I normally eat the fiber plus bar, and wanted to see if it would be a good substitute. For me, i am looking for a filling healthy quick snack that i can easily put in my purse so I'm not tempted to indulge in inflated vending machine items. so i wont be investing in them because they are more expensive, and they don't taste better... I not too concerned with protein intake... so thats why i say, if they fill your nutritional needs go for it.. but don't expect the next best thing since sliced bread!
