I can't say if this band really works or doesn't work in the ways it is advertised to--the "science" behind it is questionable at best. For $30 (as sold at sports apparel stores), it would be a scam, but for the $5.99 I purchased it for on Amazon, it works for me. I'll admit that ever since I've worn the band I have been waking up at almost exactly the same time, no matter how late I get to sleep or what I do the night before. I really hesitate to credit the band with this, but hey, who knows? I also like arguing about it with my friends, who are quick to critique it, but I always note that I haven't fallen down in like three weeks, so it must work, and we can laugh about it.
If you're looking to wear something the athletes are wearing, this is it right now. Charlie Manuel wears a powerband identical to mine on each wrist, which makes me smile as it's doubtful he has moved faster than a shuffle in years. Of course, Derrick Rose, Lebron James, etc. also wear them...the list obviously goes on and on.
In final review: Probably worth $6 if you're doing it understanding that your life will not be significantly altered as a result of wearing this. For fun, it's fun to have on, and I think that's where it begins and ends for me.
