Product Review: Fine for papers, NOT for computer

Have had this a little over a year. It was fine at first, but after a couple months, the top began to warp from either the weight or heat from a laptop computer, for which it was purchased. It's now so warped, that I had to add large rubber feet to the laptop computer, as the warped desk top plastic was blocking the air vents for the computer.
Recommended only for papers, but definitely NOT for a computer due to the thin plastic top which will not hold its shape.

Overall, I really like the design. Very useful and does what it promises (posture-rite). However, it is of very poor workmanship quality: you can see the glue on some of the parts. Gave it 4 stars becuase of the price, though.Product Review: Great Lap Desk

This lap desk makes using a laptop much more comfortable (if you don't have a real desk handy)- it helps keep you and the computer cooler and helps keep it in place. It's also great for working on suduku & other puzzles or writing anything. It's also very light weight.Product Review: Lap Desk

Although I am a writer who composes on the computer, I often do my editing on hard copy in a comfortable chair. Until I started using the Posture-Rite Lap Desk, I could not do this comfortably. Now I have it, it fits my lap perfectly, I use it and love it. I recommend it highly.
