The flaw with this item is that it's design leaves more than plenty of room for confusion for the aspiring braillist. The system of braille focuses upon two vertical columns of 3 dots, bringing the total to 6 dots. Using the "Pocket Braille Learning Device" can allow for confusion since the cube has three columns depending on which way it is turned and held.
A similar but more efficient braille learning device can be found at the American Printing House for the Blind (APH). APH sells a braille cube keychain that is visually appealing, durable, and strategically designed.
