I got this for my 3 yr old son. The hot water is a bit difficult to put into the devil jack, so I usually just fill it with hot water using cup. The jacket is pretty thick, so the it barely give off any heat. I've tried putting in nearly boiling water, it just get a bit warm at best. My son loves it more as a toy that what it is mean for. When I actually need to use it for the intended purpose I just wrap the bottle in a sweatshirt. Overall, the devil jacket looks very cute.Product Review: water bottle
