Customer Review: A partial solution to flossing with braces

The floss stretches and shreds easily compared to Crest's Glide threader floss or the Reach Flosser (my pre-braces flossing solution). Further, if the brackets on adjacent teeth are too close together, the Platypus seems to be an efficient tool for removing the ligature elastic (O-Ring) from one if the brackets, as I have done on two occasions. If, however, the brackets are not too close, and the adjacent teeth are not pressing against each other too tightly, this can speed up the flossing process for some of your teeth.

The Platypus Ortho Flosser comes in a bag of 30 flossers, and is changing the way the world flosses with braces. The floss end of The Platypus has a unique spatula-like end that slides between your wire and your teeth. By gently pressing against your teeth the floss is tightened and you are flossing!
