This product was a waste of money it told Me I was having a girl but I'm now 17 weeks and i am having a boy. Not worth the hassel.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! The Pink or Blue® Early DNA Gender Detection Test provides you with the earliest, most accurate method of finding out if you are having a boy or girl. The Pink or Blue® Early Gender Test allows you to start preparing and begin sharing your news at just 7 weeks pregnant, weeks before an ultrasound can reliably determine your baby's gender. You can take the Gender Test as early as 7 weeks post-conception (10 weeks after the first day of your last menstrual period). If you do not know the date of the first day of your last menstrual period, you need to wait up to 7 weeks after positive pregnancy test before taking the gender test. The accuracy of the Gender Test is contingent upon these conditions. How does it work? Consumer Genetics' Early Gender Determination test is based on the presence of cell-free fetal DNA circulating in the maternal circulatory system (Lo et al., 1998) and provides an accurate assay for the gender of a fetus regardless of prior male births (Bianchi et. al., 1996). Our Early Gender Test uses a quantitative readout to detect the presence of cell-free fetal male DNA in whole blood of expecting mothers. The Pink or Blue Early Gender Test has been independently verified to have an accuracy of 95%.
