I have to say that until I saw this product in the newsletter that it never occurred to me that I would actually need something like this. While it is packaged very attractively....and the product itself is also...I'm inclined to agree with many of the other reviewers, in questioning whether this is something that I would actually spend money on. While it certainly works as indicated, and seems very efficient, the truth of the matter is that there is really no way to verify efficacy. So...while the product looks cool sitting on the vanity, I'm not certain it is something that we all need to have.

Product Review: Do not order from this supplier

I ordered this on June 26th and was billed immediately. I was informed that it might take a couple of weeks. I waited until the day that I was told by Amazon to wait on this supplier. No product, no contact. After several unanswered emails from the supplier and Amazon, I called American Express. Thanks to them I received a full refund but no thanks to either the supplier nor Amazon. I have ordered directly from Amazon many times with no problems. However they, as well as, their supplier left me high and dry on this one. Thank you American Express. I won't leave home without you.
Product Review: Does what it's supposed to do great

While that may be an excellent view for a biologist, there's no denying that the product does what it is intended to do: kill bacteria on brush heads. I've had mine since they first came out and had no problem with it. This space is for product reviews, not scientific theories, by giving a product a bad rating on the principle of the thing you undermine the process and mislead consumers. Sodium laureth sulfate and other similar agents do not act to kill bacteria as was stated:
"Sodium laureth sulfate is an anionic surfactant that is used in household products such as toothpastes, shampoos, shaving foams, some disolveable asprins, and bubble baths for its thickening effect and its ability to create a lather. The molecule has a tail of 12 carbon atoms, attached to a sulfate group, giving the molecule the amphiphilic properties required of a detergent."
Those substance are detergents and surfactants used for their foaming properties, they disrupts hydrogen bonding in water causing the bubbling in toothpaste. So, if you value your oral health much then I feel it's a small price to pay for a product that kills the bacteria in tooth brush heads.

This UV sanitizer is so easy to use and it was so inexpensive. I have no way of proving that it does what it says but I feel better having and using it to keep my toothbrush germ free. Its very easy yo use and to keep clean. I highly recommend it.Product Review: Excellent Buy!

After an illness in the family our Dr. recommended replacing all toothbrushes. We had just replaced the kids a few weeks before and our less than a week. The Sonicare replacement heads are in no way cheap. We decided to replace all of the standard toothbrushes and buy a sanitizer for the kids bath and one for ours. I was shocked at the rate of reinfection to yourself from your own toothbrush. I don't know why I never thought about it before. I love that it is compact, simple to use and very cost effective. I love the magnetic hold. We just leave brushes stored in the sanitizer. It is reassuring to know every time I put my toothbrush in my mouth it is sanitized.
