We have really a really old Sonicare base and needed new replacement brushes. I called Philips and they said this brush head works with my model. It is wonderful. It works much better than the original larger brushhead.Product Review: A good cleaning!!!

I have been using sonicare for five years after going thru a gum surgery. I was happy with Sonicare standard brush heads except for occasional gum irritation. By switching to E-Series two years ago, not only did the irritation go away, but also I enjoy less noisy brushing. I must say that I had to clean brush head buildups more frequently compare to E-Series.
