Never used an electric toothbrush, so I hated to spend the $100+ on this product. Problem solved--it was my Xmas present. First time I used it, I was shocked at the powerful motor and rpms, and LOVED the professionally cleaned feeling my teeth had. A couple of months earlier, my hygienist told me that if my gums didn't improve, i'd have to see to a specialist. This time she said my mouth was beautiful. No gum-guy for me. She aslo remarked that she always sees an improvement in folks who switch to an electric toothbrush. I'll not go back to manual.Product Review: Dentist like cleaning feeling!

This is my first electric toothbrush, came highly recommended by friends. I love it! I have been using it now for over 6 months and I haven't used a regular brush since then! Been using the soniccare system for quite a while now. I tried the compact heads, and they seemed to wear a bit quicker than the standard heads. However, the dentist recently told me to change to the compact heads, which get into small spaces better. I'll give them another go.Product Review: Doesn't last...

These are the real Sonicare heads, and they work just as well as the original head, and I love it.
I thought I'd try to save some money by buying a set of the off-brand replacement heads, but they were awful. The bristles were hard and thick, and the heads don't vibrate like the Sonicare heads.
I thus highly and only recommend using these Sonicare heads for your Sonicare brush system.
