Product Reviews of Philips Sonicare HX7002/62 e-Series Standard Replacement Brush Heads, 2-PackProduct Review: 2 heads are better than one Summary: 5 Stars
The picture makes me think of a pair of giraffes. I won't be using these replacement heads for a little while since I just bought the 5300, but I like the smaller, narrow head on this brush. It gets to the back teeth easier....even the backs of the back teeth. And the flaired design at the top of the screw-on cap seems to keep crud from seeping into the battery/handle recess.
Product Review: 2-pack is cheaper than 3-pack Summary: 4 Stars
These are great toothbrushes and replacements- I've used them for years.
But the economics of size don't apply: the standard 3-pack is a bout $12/brush at present whereas the standard 2-pack is more like $10 each.
Not only that, but the "subscription plan" Amazon offers may make more sense at a minimum rate of 2 brush heads each 6 months than does 3 brush heads each 6 months. This way my wife & I can both be reminded at 6 month intervals and refreshed for just $8 apiece. I know they advise 3 month intervals but I do 6.
One fellow said that he longs for the O-ring that goes underneath these refills and he's absolutely right: mine is long gone, and I have to clean black crud out of the handle well with each replacement. Yuk.
Product Review: 3rd order Summary: 5 Stars
The replacement heads fit and work fine. Less expensive than at the store with the subscription.
Product Review: A Bargain Summary: 5 Stars
I am very pleased with my toothbrush. A quality product at a fair price. Makes brushing fun again!!
Product Review: A Great Product Summary: 5 Stars
My wife and I have been using the Sonicare tooth brushes for several years. We replace the brush heads about every 3-4 months. We have been very pleased with the performance of the units.
The Sonicare units are easy to clean, and it is very easy to replace the brush heads. After using the Sonicare units, you place them in their chargers where they stay until you're ready to use them again. We've had no problems with the batteries in the units running low.
Our only complaint is about the packaging of the replacement brush heads. The package is plastic, and it's sealed around the edges. It's very hard to open. I have to use metal cutters to cut through the sealed plastic. You would think Philips could come up with packaging that's just as secure, but is much easier to open.
