This is my second Sonicare, been using them for 10 years or so. Purchased this one 1.5 years ago and this week it started buzzing (low level alarm) in the charger. I called Sonicare (Philips), they asked my name and are sending me a new handset with no further action on my part. I'm a fan of companies that stand behind thier products - and I'll be buying more Philips products in the near future.Product Review: Arrived with wrong brushes!

Although i was looking forward to a new Philips Sonicare toothbrush, it was extremely frustrating to continually have the brush separate from the base. After several weeks of hating to use the Sonicare, and even returning to an old fashioned toothbrush, I contacted their on-line customer service. Apparently both brushes that came with my Sonicare were incorrect models! As a "one time concession", the representative agreed to send me one replacement brush. Now the brush works fine, I enjoy cleaning my teeth but I am very disappointed that only one of the brushes was replaced. Not impressed by Sonicare's packing quality control or their response to this problem.

I was given the suggestion of getting one of these by my dental hygienist during a recent visit. So I searched around Amazon for info on the various models and read many reviews, most of which were very positive. The only negatives I recall reading about this model were by some who felt it was noisier and/or has more vibration in the hand than some other Sonicare model they had used previously. Not having experienced any product of this kind before, I'm in no position to make such comparisons, but IMO the level of noise and vibration is quite reasonable. It does take a few uses to get completely accustomed to the experience, but the end result is remarkable. My teeth and gums really do feel much like they do following a checkup at the dentist's office. I only wish I'd found this thing years ago!Product Review: Awesome
