I bought this brush six months ago on recommendation of my dentist. It didn't matter how much I brushed or flossed, I was still having issues. So, I broke down and decided to spend the money. Today, I went to my 6 month check up and the hygienist barely had to do anything. She said I was doing an excellent job. I am so happy because I've had already a couple of oral surgeries and sure don't want to go through it again. Spending $150 now, will potentially save me thousands in surgery. I have been using the Sonicare Flex 9500 for about 18 months. I love this toothbrush. Automatic timing and a reminder to "switch" locations is great. The ability to customize the way you brush without compromising the quality of the cleaning is very helpful. This toothbrush keeps my teeth cleaner than they have ever been. I love my Sonicare toothbrush. You just don't know how clean your mouth can be until you try one. This model comes with some new settings, basically a quick version and a rather intense deep cleaning version that massages your gums. It also has a travel charger and a brush cleaner mounted to the more stationary charger. These are handy additions, but the real value is the toothbrush. This was recommended by our hygenist. Since my husband and I have both had sinus infections this winter, the sanitizer has been wonderful. you can make sure your brushes are clean and sanitized and will not transfer germs back into your mouth. As for the Sonic toothbrush, it makes my teeth feel cleaner than they have ever been. My teeth are very close together and I am unable to get between them. With the Sonicare food stuck between my teeth comes out with no problem.
