Product Reviews of Philips Sonicare HX3351/02 Xtreme Battery Operated ToothbrushProduct Review: SONICARE TOOTHBRUSH Summary: 5 Stars
Nice product. Already have one I keep in my desk at work. Wanted another for travel.Philips Sonicare Xtreme Power Toothbrush (Blue)
Product Review: Small but Good Summary: 3 Stars
I must have missed the part about this being sized for kids. Other than the pint sized brush head, it works as it should.
Product Review: Small investment that seems worth it Summary: 4 Stars
I have only been using this toothbrush for a week or so, but already I can tell a marked difference over the conventional brushes I had been using. The plaque removal is much more effortless with this brush and it has a stimulating effect on your gums.
I definitely noticed that the plaque levels have been dramatically reduced, and it does a much more thorough job of getting in tough-to-reach areas, which is a big help for a snaggle-tooth like me.
This brush appears to be the entry-level model, so I think it is worth a try for anyone who is curious. I am doubtful that the more expensive models have that much more to offer. The lack of rechargeable batteries may seem to be a problem with this model, but it also allows for more flexibility and easier replacement, as you can use standard or rechargeable AA batteries.
This one also lacks a detailed timer, but you're buying a toothbrush not a stop watch. This one has what's important: the cleaning power. It runs for 2 minutes, so you know when you've brushed at least that long.
The biggest drawback for the entire Sonicare line seems to be the expense of the replacement heads, but for the price of this brush it's hard to complain too much. Some have also commented on the fragility of this model, but even if I had to buy an entirely new brush every 12-18 months, it would be worth the 30 bucks.
Product Review: Sonicar Xtreme ... a good value in my book Summary: 4 Stars
This is my second purchase of this item. The first one mysteriously quit in the manner described in other purchaser reviews. I reluctantly purchased another, since while it worked, it worked fine. The product may have an inherent deficiency (as others concluded/speculated in their reviews) where water gets in where it shouldn't and causes malfunction.
I am going to be more mindful of this in how I care for the toothbrush. There is a two-year warranty and face it, nothing lasts forever.
The price from Amazon was $22 and change, including shipping. Compare that with other models from other sources and you will agree that it's a good deal.
I also bought one for my son who thinks it's great.
Product Review: Sonicare Toothbrush Summary: 5 Stars
Sonicare is absolutely the best way to clean your teeth. My dental hygienist recommended this type of toothbrush and I bought my first one back when they cost over $250. each. I refuse to use anything else. They offer the most cleaning bang for the buck. I'm on my fourth Sonicare and I'll keep using them as long as I'm able to brush my own teeth.
The brush heads are easy to replace and the batteries are long-lasting. Try one, you'll be amazed at the feeling of clean!
