Product Reviews of Philips Sonicare FlexCare Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush

Product Review: Best price in town
Summary: 5 Stars

Purchased after reading reviews of comparison of Philips Sonicare products. My husband likes it more than his old one.

Product Review: Best toothbrush ever. Great for preventing gum recession.
Summary: 5 Stars

I tried the oral b triumph before, I didn't like the small head. I switched off to a manual toothbrush, bad idea, even though I didn't think I was brushing too hard, I ended up causing a lot of gum recession. Now I have the flex care. I get great results and I don't rip up my gums in the process.

Product Review: Best yet
Summary: 5 Stars

The Sonicare Flexcare brush is certainly the most effective cleaner/massager I have ever used. I bought it at the repeated urging of my dentist. I had been using an Oral B electric, which was effective. Indeed I was quite satisfied until I started with the Sonicare. It gets into more spaces, loosens debris better and maintains gums better than a rotating brush. I use a saline solution (1%) only - no toothpaste - and my teeth come out literally squeaky clean in two minutes of brushing. I have only had it for a few months, but I have had zero problems.

Product Review: Better than Braun...
Summary: 5 Stars

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Braun Plak Control Ultra is the brush I've been using for years. I was happy enough with it, and thought it did a superior cleaning job.

Well, the Philips Sonicare has the Braun beat by a mile, for the following reasons:

--3 different cleaning "modes" including one for sensitive teeth, one for massage, and one for clean (this mode feels most like a dentist's cleaning, minus the discomfort).
--timed settings so you can do a 1, 2, or 3 minute brushing.
--a brush head that is small enough to fit comfortably in the mouth, but has a better shape (oval-ish) than the round Braun brush head. (In other words, it covers more surface.)
--has an "interval timer" so you know you've spent enough time brushing each section of your mouth.
--comes with a nice travel case, and travel cap for the brush head, and charger.

What more is there to say? It's a great system that leaves your teeth feeling like you've had a professional cleaning.

Product Review: Better than the older models
Summary: 5 Stars

I've used the first generation for years and was satisfied. This newer version is lighter, faster and definitely feels like it is cleaning more efficiently.
