About ten years ago, I bought a twofer, Sonicare Elite, at Costco and still have one of them, as a back-up, if I ever have to get my new Sonicare FlexCare repaired. This new R910 Sonicare Flexcare is a treat to use: It is now, very lightweight and more hygienic because of the improved design of the head, eliminating the old, screw-down collar that collected moisture and got real grungy. The new shaft has a lightweight, rubber grip. And, you don't have to hold it in your palm, like a baseball bat, but between your fingertips, more like a flute. (I also discovered that there is a small, plastic sheet from the factory, over the control face, which can be removed, just like the plastic sheet over the microwave panel when it's just out of the box.) I especially like the variable brushing settings, from "regular" to "sensitive" to "massage". Personally, I like to brush for 2-4 minutes and then do a massage on the gums for another 2 minutes. The charging base is smaller and lighter, along with a space, (when you remove the bottom cover), to wrap the cord, when traveling.
P.S. I only accidentally hit the power button, once. If you've, previously, had an Elite, it may take you a few days to get used to the new narrow, lightweight design.

This is a wonderful product that really does give your mouth that "just been to the dentist" feeling every time you brush. And surprisingly I like the very clean mouth sensation so well I am somehow also inspired to floss twice a day too after years of ignoring my dentist's advice to do so. I've been using the sonicare brush for six months and I would really feel unhygienic if I had to go back to using the old style toothbrush. Even more importantly I have the beginnings of gum disease and at my last visit the hygienist said my numbers are much improved (whatever that means?). I also have this product with the sanitizer but I am delighted to see they are offering just the brush at a lower price. Highly recommended and well worth the money to anyone like me whose teeth seem to build plaque at a higher than average rate.Product Review: Great Product

I have been using Sonicare toothbrushs for the last 14 years. I highly recommend them to everyone. I also have the Sanitizer and now wouldn't be without one. They are both excellent products and worth every penny. My last one was the Flexcare and I love it.

This toothbrush is amazing. It is gentle on the gums, and cleans my teeth better than any manual toothbrush I have ever used. I have noticed the amount of buildup on my teeth has decreased as a result of using this toothbrush as well.
This brush is able to clean the hard to reach places like the back teeth, around my permanent retainer, and in the deep groves of my molars.
The timer is a great feature and the different settings allow you to find the brushing setting you'll like best.
Like almost anything else, you get what you pay for, I highly recommend this product!

After a problem with another Amazon vendor not shipping my order, Ordered direct from Amazon.com with overnight shipping and everything was as promised receiving it the next day before I left the country. Product is such an improvement over the older models I have used in the past. Smaller and lighter unit is much easier to use. More modes to work in and charge light very useful. New style battery much better with more uses per charge. Best of all is both small size AND that it can be used in any type of power plug. A big plus for me here in Thailand (where my girlfriend had blown up one of the older model chargers for my old Sonicare by bypassing my power converter)is that I can plug it into ANY power plug on my travels around the world.
