Product Reviews of Philips Sonicare Elite e7300 Power ToothbrushProduct Review: A Satisfying Purchase Summary: 4 Stars
It has been about a month now with the new electric toothbrush and I admit that I prefer it quite a bit to the old manual one. My teeth became noticeably whiter in not much more than a couple of weeks. My gums feel better and the massage you can give them with this toothbrush is quite a treat. Some of the downsides include a battery that is not replaceable (a NiCd battery which unfortunately can suffer from the memory effect if not charged correctly), it doesn't circulate toothpaste around the mouth as well for that clean fresh breath, and I suppose it is a little on the pricey side. I am, however, happy that I finally got one and I don't in any way regret the purchase.
Product Review: A Toothbrush That Does Good Cleaning Job Summary: 5 Stars
This toothbrush really cleans my teeth well. I have never felt my teeth so thoroughly clean before. It's very easy to use - Just push the power button when you are ready to brush, put the brush against your teeth, move the brush around your mouth and let the brush do the rest of the work. It comes with a default 2-minute timer setting for each brushing job but if you want to brush longer, you can just push the power button again. You can also adjust the brush speed but I don't find it particularly necessary or useful. The manufacturer recommends change brush head every six months but I guess applying common sense makes more sense here.
Product Review: A Word about the Travel Case Summary: 4 Stars
This is my second Sonicare toothbrush. The travel case that comes with it is not very impressive. It's a hard plastic with soft, bendable plastic serving as the hinge. It will protect your Sonic power handle and brush head, but I imagine the hinge will break after several uses. My previous travel case was made of nylon, had some foam padding for protection, and closed with a wraparound zipper, which I think protects just as well and lasts longer. The new plastic travel case is obviously cheaper to make and a money saver for Philips.
I like everything else about Sonicare. It does what it advertises, which is why I bought another after my first one ran out of battery.
Product Review: A wonderful toothbrush Summary: 5 Stars
I have used a Sonicare toothbrush for about five years, and the old one was beginning to wear out. Based on my experience, I wanted another Sonicare. The new one exceeded my expectations. The new angled head fit my mouth better, it is lighter, and much more comfortable. I am completely satisfied.
Product Review: A world of change! Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a geek... and often find myself in love with the newest toy or gadget just to have my heart broken when it doesn't work. I'd had my eye on the Sonicares for almost two years when someone actually bought me one ("Tired of hearing you talk about it" was how I believe they put it) because as much as I wanted one, I couldn't justify spending $120 on a toothbrush. All I can say is "wow!" I used to brush once a day (I know, bad me) and floss about once a week (bad me again...). Now I'm using the Sonicare about three times a day because it's JUST THAT GREAT. When I'm finished brushing, my teeth feel brand new... it's exactly (as a previous reviewer noted) like I've just gotten out of the dentist's chair. I never thought I'd be so verbose over a toothbrush, but these are phenomenal. I'd recommend it to everyone.
