Product Review: GREAT FOR CLEANING IF YOU CAN GET PAST THE VIBRATION

My dentist suggested I get this eletric toothbrush due to a receding gumline. I've had it over a week and it does a progressively better job of cleaning. The hardest thing to get used to is the vibration in your mouth. You have to seal your lips around the brush so paste and spit don't spray out. This makes your lips vibrate and become numb. My favorite feature is the two minute timer. The brust automatically stops after two minutes of brushing to keep you from overdoing it.
After a while it feels like the spaces between your teeth do not get as clean as the surfaces and there doesn't seem to be anything you can do about it. After awhile I switched back to my toothbrush and realized I wasn't doing as good a job around the gumbline as I was with the Sonicare. Guess it's a toss up.

This toothbrush gets your teeth clean, and I have noticed that it does better than my previous oral b toothbrush at removing stains. I drink a lot of coffee and at every dental visit my teeth would have a lot of staining.
This doesn't have things like battery indicator levels, and doesn't buzz every 30 seconds like my previous one did making my timing off. However, the price was right compared to the newer more expensive models.

I was replacing my 9YO Sonicare that had died, and was disappointed to find that this one lacked a feature - called "quadpacer" now - that was standard and unnamed on the old one. I felt that that feature added a great deal to the effectiveness of the instrument and emailed Philips. Their suggestion was to get a more expensive model, which I did. My husband doesn't have a lot of teeth left, so the quadpacer would be of less value to him; I've given this one to him hoping to help him salvage the ones he still has, and I'm using my even newer e7300 (separate review).Product Review: Good Cleaning but some features missing

We had an old Sonic Care toothbrush that looks like this but had the Quad Pacer. I bought a second one since I hated switching brushes between mine and my wifes. The old toothbrush charger charges this, so we only need one charger out. I would give a 5 if it had a Quad pacer that alerts you every 30 seconds, but otherwise this is a nice product.Product Review: Good Investment!

After my dentist told me I had gingivitis I knew it was time to start taking better care of my teeth. After I did some research I decided upon this model toothbrush even though it was a bit more expensive than what I was used to paying for a toothbrush. After a month of use I can say that my teeth are noticeably whiter which I was amazed by. It does a good job of cleaning thoroughly your teeth and the timer is excellent because I never know how long I should be brushing my teeth for. I completely recommend this product and I probably will never go back to brushing my teeth with a regular toothbrush.
