Do not buy. I got this trimmer for Christmas. It's Jan 3rd and it doesn't run anymore. I used it twice. Checked the battery. It doesn't turn on. It worked well when it worked. I was the best trimmer I have tried until it refused to run. Hopefully I can return it. I cannot recommend a product that fails so quickly for no reason.Product Review: Don't Bother

This thing wouldn't cut a hair if you held it with two hands and beared down on it. They call it a trimmer, and it makes a noise, but that is it.

This trimmer is the worst trimmer that I've purchased and I've tried many of the ones out there. It worked once, when I first inserted the battery and wouldn't start subsequently. I sent it back to the manufacturer, who, after some confusing customer service, sent me a replacement which did excactly the same thing.
Save your money and try something else.

Used it once. I thought it did a good job. Went to use it the next day. It didn't turn on. Put in a new battery. It still didn't work. Now I'm returning it and will NOT do an exchange.
Hey Norelco, maybe try and test your products before shipping them.

Even after reading these reviews I decided to try this product. I really liked it when I first used it. But sure enough after three uses it just died. Tried replacing the battery etc., but no go. Sadly when I first ordered this, I accidentally got two and just paid to ship one back to Amazon. Now I am going to return the defective one and Amazon is paying for it. Net, thanks to the poor product quality from Norelco/Philips, I actually lose money in addition to time after trying this product and hardly using it. I've had bad luck with Philips products before and at this point say never ever again will I buy Philips!
