Buyer beware!
I purchased this model 2 years ago. After 1 year the plastic casing around the blade cracked. And now today, infact, it completely died! I tried several different batteries. It's now junk! I paid $26 CAD,

I bought this in hopes that I would have it around for years if not months. I ignored the low star-ratings assuming they were overreacting. I used this trimmer ONCE, no joke. And that ONE time was probably for no longer than 1 minute. I went to use it again and got nothing. I changed the batteries numerous times, shook it, gave it a few days, nothing worked, it died. Philips should be ashamed of themselves for not solving whatever problem it is they are experiencing with this product. DO NOT BUY!Product Review: DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

The problem I had was that this device does work....for about 5 minutes. Then it died on me. Thinking it was a fluke, I sent it back and received a replacement. Guess what...then new died after two uses. I have no faith in these units at all! Until they figure out why they die after one or two uses, save your money!Product Review: Decent

Had this trimmer since October.
Its been reliable, no issues with it not working. The packaging is a pain but thats not against the product itself.
My biggest issue is that it doesn't feel comfortable during use around my ears and nose due to its vibration. Also, I don't feel it cuts close enough either. I have since gone back to my old precision trimmer. I still use this around my neck and all, but definitely not for what I intended to use it for.
