As an ear & nose hair trimmer, I'd have to say this isn't great. There are better products out there for that.
However, as far as I know, this is the only eyebrow hair trimmer on the market, and for that purpose the NT9110 works extremely well. Way less work and does a better job than eyebrow scissors. The principle is similar to regular hair clippers, with long and short attachments. It trims to a consistent length, and works quickly and easily. Be sure to read the instructions - there is a technique to it. Highly recommended.

I agree with many of the people here. It's a great trimmer. I was SO excited the first time I used it. Unfortunately it never worked again. I thought it was the battery but it wasn't. Just stopped working. Very unfortunate. Don't buy this.Product Review: Best nose/ear trimmer ever created

I've gone through 3 other nose/ear trimming products from other manufacturers. They never seemed to do a good job. I always had to make a second pass with a small scissors. Having to also use a scissors means the trimmer itself is a failure at its job.
But with this Norelco, it works perfectly. No need for a scissors.
Quite a few U.S. reviewers report that the trimmer stops working after a few initial usages, dragging down the rating for this product. But over at Amazon UK, the trimmer is highly rated. They experience the same problem, but apparently have figured out a solution (quickly remove and reinsert the AA battery). Check out this UK review:

The wife tested the trimmer and loves it too, so we're buying another. And we've thrown away the earlier trimmers.
I highly recommend this product.

Buy this product with confidence. If you hate the rotary style nose & ear hair trimmers, finding them ineffective--you will LOVE this trimmer. Multi-use is a key capability of this product. Ears, nose, mustache, eyebrows...anything--I even trimmed my hair with it (I wear a buzz cut).
Bottom-line: Do not buy rotary style trimmers, as they don't work--regardless of how sharp the blades are, how much they're angled, how many there are, etc. You will be disappointed. You will NOT be disappointed with this trimmer. It's better than the one I had to replace. This one is awesome and I highly recommend it!
