Ok... so I read all the reviews of this product before purchasing and decided to go for it anyway, much to my disappointment. Basically, after about 3 or 4 uses, the product died completely. I tried a new battery, still nothing. I saw the other reviews that said this but thought to myself "I'll try it anyway, maybe I'll get one of the good ones." Unfortunately, I did not. I had tried several products--nose hair clippers--prior to this, but they didn't work very well. So, having purchased a Norelco triple headed shaver that I was extremely satisfied with, I decided to try the Norelco Nose Hair Clipper. I was pleasantly surprised at how safe and effective it is. The Philps Norelco NT9110 Precision Nose and Ear Trimmer is the best ever. I read the evaluatons prior to purchase and the key to this item to consistantly perform properly is cleaning after each use. The angle and the open trimmer type action allows the trimmer to cut the hairs deep inside the nose, which the circle typs does not do. I recommend this product highly, and only wish that I had found it years ago.

I have tried them all and this relatively inexpensive product is the best by far. I believe the rotary style trimmers, like all of the Panasonics, have a blade clearance too great to give a close cut. This trimmer, on the other hand, cuts nearly as close as a conventional safety razor. Buy one. You will not be disapoppointed.
