I've tried half a dozen trimmers for ear and nose hair over the last 25 years, and none has worked well for both. This magic tool is incredible, never fails, and even comes with two spacers that fit over the cutting head to trim eyebrows to a length of your choosing. When this product first arrived, it worked for 1 min and promptly failed. When replacement came, it worked for 5 days then failed. I followed directions with great care. Guys, if you haven't already, take a good look in the mirror at you nose. If you see ANY hairs sticking out of your nostrils, grab your credit card and order one of these immediately. Nobody, and I repeat, nobody cares to see hairs sticking out of your nose, as well as anything else that might be stuck to them!
Every well-groomed man simply needs to have a nose-hair trimmer. I started out using the rotary type, mainly because they're the most popular. The problem was, it just didn't get that close, and it was just plain uncomfortable- but what did I know?
Then I got this model. It's battery operated, I use it once a week for a few minutes, and I've had no trouble with it eating up batteries (I use Duracells). But the main thing is to get one that is not rotary, but rather more like a "sword" like this one. This kind of design is simply more comfortable, and allows you to be more close and precise. To boot, this one cleans up easily- I just run it under the water in the sink, and know that you can always pop off the plastic cap around the tip for a more thorough cleaning if need be.
So take my advice guys and give this one a try if you're dissatisfied with your current trimmer. And if you don't use one, let me just say that people do notice excess nose hair whether they tell you or not.
