I'm very pleased with the trimmer. It does a good close trim of ear and nose hairs without pulling. An added benefit is that it comes with eyebrow trimming accessories which I now use to the great pleasure of my wife who often complained about my wild bush eyebrows. I bought one of these trimmers and found it trims nose hairs reasonably well. Not great, but okay. But after three or four uses I tried it one day and found it didn't run anymore. Lifeless. So I returned it and Amazon sent me a replacement. The second one arrived, I used it once, and the second time I went to use it, it no longer ran. In between the two uses, it had done nothing but sit in the medicine cabinet. So, I rate this as the most undependable, unreliable product I have ever owned. Philips and Norelco are both good brands and it's unfortunate that they've put their name on this product.Product Review: Eyebrow Trimmer

I like this trimmer for eyebrows. It only cuts on the side and not the end. It has adapters for the eyebrows. I like the trimmers which also cut on the end for nose and ear trimming. They seem to trim more easily.Product Review: FAIL

Like some of the other users, I made sure to keep this trimmer safely in a toiletries bag in a medicine cabinet but after a couple months it died on me. Yes I changed the batteries ;) - It's just a poor product, before that I had a Wahl and it lasted 6 years on the same battery until it fell from the cabinet and broke on the ground.

Buy this product with confidence. If you hate the rotary style nose & ear hair trimmers, finding them ineffective--you will LOVE this trimmer. Multi-use is a key capability of this product. Ears, nose, mustache, eyebrows...anything--I even trimmed my hair with it (I wear a buzz cut).
Bottom-line: Do not buy rotary style trimmers, as they don't work--regardless of how sharp the blades are, how much they're angled, how many there are, etc. You will be disappointed. You will NOT be disappointed with this trimmer. It's better than the one I had to replace. This one is awesome and I highly recommend it!
