I have used Norelco razers for over 15 years, my last one, a Spectra, was the worst of the lot. It is slow, ocassionally cuts me and never really gives a close shave... I sadly put up with this for over a year because ocassionally it seemed to work. This new model shows the Spectra was a lemon model and that the rotary technology can improve and deliver a close, fast and painless shave. It redeems my faith in Norelco. My new Philips Norelco Model #9190XL Electric Rechargeable Razor. I have been using this razor for over two weeks now and I am very pleased with the nice close shave it gives me. Its also quiet in operation and easey to clean under the faucet.

I bought the Philips Norelco 9190XL Smart TouchXL Shaver on April 30, 2007,had my doubt's about all the reviews i was reading about this shaver, but i have to say they are true,i've been using a blade for the last 20 years and never knew it could be this good,after i charged this shaver i thought there was something wrong with it because i couldn't hear it running, the battery is great, haven't had to charge it but once so far and i use it every day for about three weeks now. If you're thinking about it think no more buy it, you won't regret it.
