Customer Review: 9190XL vs 6843XL

Prior to purchasing the 9190 I had been using the 6843 for 2+ years I immediately noticed a much closer and easier shave with the 1990.
However, it had a little "bite" to it in that I felt a irritation for a couple days [maybe 3] before my skin adjusted to it.
Prior to the 6843 I had used a Gold colored Norelco with an LCD shaves remaining window. It was superior to the low end 6843. But like all the rest, It had NiCad's and went useless even with cord in after 3 years.
I will experiment with de-soldering the NiCads out of the 6843 and replacing with HiMh.
I sick of throwing away big bucks for Phillips every 2-3 years.
The 9190XL does great at longer hairs. I absolutely love it though. My wife on the other hand thinks I need to be placed in a straight jacket for shelling out $ 275.00 for an electric razor.

The 9190XL enables you to personalize your shave with three comfort settings that adjust to your skin type for maximum comfort in sensitive areas.
