It's a little pricey, but worth it. I used Norelco for about 4 years before I got this one. It was a Quadra-Action Razor and it cut smooth every time. Norelco upped their standards with the SmartTouch-XL series. It not only cuts smooth, but it cuts QUICK. I'd say it take me 1/2 the time shaving, now that this razor almost GUARANTEES a smooth cut the first time around. It really makes a difference!Product Review: Excellent shaver

So glad i read reviews, here and elsewhere, of this and many other products before choosing this one. Great! well worth the price, for many reasons! Firstly, it shaves closely, then it's comfortable in the hand, lasts a long time after charging, and finally pretty quiet. i'm new to it, and it to me, but we've become quick friends. i recommend it, and it's worth the 'cheap' price!Product Review: Best Razor Yet!

I have used over 5 different models of electric razors in the past decade, looking for the cream of the crop: I have think I've found it!
This shaver had good online reviews so I purchased it and it was well worth the money. It takes a little bit of time to get used to your face (about a full month for me) but after it did it was quite a close shave, approaching the closeness of even a manual blade. Other positive things about this model are that it is easy to clean and has a great internal battery (fully charging in less than an hour). LED lights on the front come on after each use and remind you to rinse the razor head under the tap while also reminding you of how much battery life is left. A sturdy stand to keep your razor upright while not in use is also included.

I have owned this razor for about a month now and it gives you a very close shave without a lot of hassle. The only tough part for me to shave is the middle of my neck. I usually have to go over that a few times. Other then that its great. Pretty easy to clean, store, charge. Also, the sensitivity adjustment is a nice feature as well.
