Product Review: "Speed" name is very fitting

I've had this since the beginning of Dec. '06, and so far, I'm impressed. The initial charge lasted about 2 weeks. The second charge is lasting almost 4 weeks - shaving 4 days a week.
The increased shaving area definitely cuts down on shaving time. And, don't let it's low weight fool you. In terms of "closeness," it does a very good job.
Cleaning is very easy - just rinse under water. It's recommended to take apart the cleaning heads once a month to clean. Again, very easy.
I switched to this model after several years using a Braun. The Braun did fine, but if the outer "foil" was damaged (small breaks in the metal), you were out of luck, had to buy replacement parts and be lucky that your face didn't get cut up in the process.
Overall, I'm very pleased with this product!

Barbeador excelente, não irrita a pele, faz uma barba bem rente, a bateria dura bastante e também é bem silencioso.
Inicialmente, nos primeiros dias de uso, a pele sente um pouco o barbeador, mas a própria norelco avisa que podem haver irritações de pele que faz parte do processo de acomodação da pele.
Já estou usando ele a 10 dias sem recarregar e nem sinal da bateria estar proxima do fim.

This is the 3rd Norelco that I have owned in 20 years and each time I have been happy with my purchase. Key features for me is the ability to run on cord or cordless, and of course smooth shave. In past models the battery has never lasted very long, so I would not buy one without corded capability. This delivers and this and more. Motor sounds less powerful, but the efficiency of the shave is superior to previous models. Very pleased with this purchase.Product Review: 5 O'clock Shadow

Update: Still going strong after almost 3 1/2 years...to get a better shave I've started using Electric Shave...it helps. Next time I'll still look for an electric razor that shaves close enough without Electric Shave.
I've used this razor for almost 6 months. Sorry, it just does not shave close enough, and I always get a 5 o'clock shadow. The Remington I purchased in 1998 shaves closer (I've replaced the blade a few times), but the battery is long dead and only works if plugged in; hence the new purchase. Also, the trimmer is nearly useless...I still use the Remington for trimming.
On the plus side, the rinse feature is outstanding and it is very quiet.
Wish I could have tried before I bought...I will next time.
