Overall, I am kind of happy with this shaver, but if you need a quick shave, go look somewhere else (most likely you'll need to spend some more money).
PROS:
* Inexpensive
* Easy to wash with water (a killer feature at this price-point)
* Low noise, a lot less than other electric shaver I used before.
* Cordless.
CONS:
* Slow. I can't get a decent shave in less than ten minutes.
* Battery with memory effect: you need to wait for the battery to die before recharging. I get caught in the middle of a shave every few days.

This is my first electric shaver (have been using gillette sensor excel for number of years) and I love it. This is giving me a very close shave on my cheeks but not so close under the chin/neck area. The razor works OK, but the recharging light never blinks like the instructions say they will. Consquently, I never know when it is fully charged. I left it charging for 3 days and never knew if it was charged or not. Forget about getting advice from Norelco. Phone calls, web sites, or Email will not help in answering a question.
