I have purchased this item as a gift for my husband. He hates shaving so he puts it off for a week before he shaves again. He liked this shaving system because it is used on dry skin, which makes it easy to do everyday, a minute and he is done. It shaves closer than other brands. Plus, because it is corded, it is always at the same power. He had other systems before but he always managed to lose the charger somewhere!Product Review: Great Shaver

I've had 2 remington microscreen shavers and neither did the job that this norelco does. i like this design better, it conforms much better to the shape of my face and gives a smooth shave. Great deal and worth the thirty-some bucks I paid for it.Product Review: Great Unbelivable shaving

This is my first time of using electric shavers, and from what I read that It will take some time until my skin get use to it and have a complete satasfiying shave, but when I use Norelco 6423LC it was really great I got my chin shaved from the first use without having any irritaion or else, and I had a wonderful complete shave.
I bought a Braun from WalMart, but it wasn't that good even that it didn't shave anything. I return it in the same day...
Really, this shaver is the best ever, no need to charge or recharge, use it for like 5 minute and you will have a full neat shave.

Like many others, I checked into the prices on new blades for my older Norelco, and found this one priced about the same. I see the price has gone up a few dollars over what I paid a few weeks ago, but still a great deal. This one is a giant leap over the old one. It's smoother, quieter, and shaves closer. The one snag is the cord is tightly coiled, and tends to unplug from the bottom of the shaver when you are using it. However, don't even think about getting replacement blades, buy this one and you get a new motor and a much, much better shave.
