It's not that the shave is terrible for my face, it is rather good, but I personally have a problem with the cord contacts wearing out due to stress on them (I have already gone through 2 different ones), and without the cord, this is just a paperweight.Product Review: Corded Norelco razor

This product is not like newer versions. It does not have a flip-up head and you can not rinse it out with water. Instead, it is like older versions, and is recommended to brush out the head housing once a week and to desassemble and brush/lubricate razor heads once every 2 months. It is a lift-and-cut razor that does the job. Well worth the money.Product Review: Corded Shaver is quick, easy, and comfortable to use, and gives an excellent shave.

Some of us want a straightforward electric shaver that doesn't have a heavy battery pack & charger to mess with. Just plug it in and shave. The 6423 is quiet, smooth, and light weight. Too bad Philips discontinued corded shavers! There are still some stocks of them left on the market. GET ONE WHILE YOU CAN.Product Review: Critique

Cannot beleive how fast I received this with the free shipping.
Very Happy with the product. Had a Norelco razor for 25 years, it was the best. This new one is light weight and quiet but don't beleive it will last 10 years let alone 25, but it does and excellent job of shaving.
Price was low...I'm Happy with this purchase.
