Customer Review: A great improvement over my old Norelco

My old Norelco lasted for a freakishly long time (over a decade of daily use) before it finally got to the point where it was not really holding a charge. This shaver is fantastic. Used dry it provides a fast and reasonable shave, easily coping with the difficult areas like chin and neck. For a super close shave I use it wet with a shaving gel - this gives me a better result than I have ever had, even with a five bladed blade shaver. Also without the haemorrhage from facial cuts.
The Jet Clean cleaning station certainly works, but I am not sure how much better it works than washing the shaver under a tap.
Electric shavers are not for everyone, and rotary shavers are not for every electric shaver user. However, if a rotary suits you, this one should do the job.
I was not too worried about the purchase price - even if it only lasts 2 years that is only $2/ week, a bit extra if you keep buying the Norelco cleaning solution, and replace the head once a year as recommended.
