I previously had a Verilux sunrise clock, and it did the job adequately, but when it stopped working correctly, I decided it was time to get a new device, one with a dock for my iPhone. Lucky for me, there existed such a product! So far, I've had it just over a week, and here are the pros: (1) easy to set up, (2) works well with the iPhone, (3) pretty bright--brighter than the Verilux, (4) good sound quality, (5) alarm noise options are pretty good--significantly better than the weird clunky options of the Verilux. The cons: (1) sometimes the button for the light to just come on as a reading light isn't very sensitive, (2) there's a snooze option, but to reset the alarm, you just flick it off and then back on, (3) I wish the dock were higher; the position of the iPod/iPhone dock makes it so that it's always below eye level. So far, I'm pretty pleased and would recommend it for those who are looking for a good sunrise clock with lots of functionality.
