I have been using the Bite Blocker for 4 years now and it is the only bug repellent on this earth so far that keeps the "MAY FLIES" away. You have to use the spray not the lotion and don't be afraid to spray in on. You have to repeat it often at first and then every few hours. It all depends how heavy the black fly population is at the time. The earlier in the day and dusk is when you need to use it more often I have found but it works. The lotion is not effective for whatever reason. It works so well on people, I had to get the one for my dog and the flies stay away from her as well. So once again, we can enjoy spring without looking through netting. It works for Black Flies but not mosquito's.
