I was first introduced to Pernox when my younger sister had bad outbreaks as a teen. I tried it and loved it! I have been using it off and on ever since and I am now 58 and still using it. It is the BEST! It helps heal outbreaks faster than anything you've ever tried. I don't have oily skin but it works for all types of skin. Right now I have a skin allergy problem where patches on my face just keep peeling off and being red and inflamed. I was afraid to use Pernox and tried many other prescription creams, salves and otc products to no avail; usually it got worse. Recently I pulled out the ol' Pernox and scrubbed lightly a little every day and it is beginning to heal up with several places not peeling now. The rest of the spots are no longer inflamed. Hooray for Pernox once again! Try it. You'll love it. It is expensive but a little goes a long way and you don't necessarily need to use it every day. A bottle usually lasts me about 4-6 months. I even add a little water to the last bit in the bottle to get just a little more out of it!
