Product Review: Almost met expectations

I ordered these insoles to put in my Sorel snow boots. I purchased the boot a half size larger than my shoe size so that I had room for thick socks. There was plenty of room left even with thick socks so I wanted soft and cozy insoles so that the boot didn't feel so much like a "snowboot". I was really hoping for something comparable to the UGGS insoles, just thinner, which is why I bought the Pedag 112 Alaska Genuine Lamb's Wool Insole. These are thin, and they served the purpose of filling in the extra space in my snow boot, but they have no cushion what-so-ever; so they work, but they are not as "cozy" as I hoped they would be.
The pic makes them look more "cushion-y" than they really are.

I bought these for a pair of flats that was a bit big and also because my feet get very cold wearing flats in winter. They are a great insert. They stay in place and provide great cushioning for the insole. I can't say for certain if they are authentic lamb's wool or not, but it doesn't really matter a great deal to me for the price. I ordered these as I always have cold feet and it appeared that this was going to be a particularly cold winter
These far surpass what I have had before . They have retained their shape. I bought two pair so that I don't have to trade off between the shoe boot and the ankle boot and that is all I have been wearing for the past two months. Another great feature is that these wick away perspiration as well, so even with the temp change of inside to outside and back out again, there is no dampness.
An excellent product - I have had plain wool insloes in the past .These are SO much better
I highly recommend these.
