Does everything it said it would - send a fragrant mist into the air - and more! (Or else I just didn't read the full explanation.) It turns itself off before it goes completely dry, which, to me, is a fantastic feature!! You can either have the different colored lights on or off, which is great! We love it!

I have had this item for about a year and love this it, but there is just one problem with it. It works great with the oils, but if you like to change your scent constantly - I always find you can't truly get rid of the scent of the last oil you used.

Product Review: Inexpensive but good diffuser

This diffuser sprays a fine cool mist of water with the essential oil of your choice added. It doesn't heat the oil, which is generally agreed upon as better. It can spray for about 30 minutes, after which it needs to be refilled. The parts come apart easily so cleaning it is easy as well. I recommend it.

I was looking for a small size humidifier. This one is small, nice design, has changing colors, BUT it works a couple of hours and then runs out of water. So as a humidifier it is not efficient enough. It can be used different way. I bought a pack of scented oils and use Spa Mist for aromatherapy. It gives some humidity, plus nice lights, plus nice scent in the room. It really helps to relax and to fall asleep. And it turns off automatically. I do need scented candles any more.
