Product Reviews of Pearlessence Spa MistProduct Review: DOA Summary: 1 Stars
We borrowed a friends, which was very fussy about water level but it worked. The one we bought would not run. When it was turned on the light would flash for a second, then nothing. We tried different water levels but still nothing. We are returning it to Amazon.
Product Review: Dead Unit.... 4 days after it arrived Summary: 1 Stars
I bought the mister and the Pearlessence aromasense oils on Jan 5th, 2008 and it was delivered on the 11th. I was excited to find this at over half the price off the Homedics Breathe and other comparable units. That quickly turned to disappointment. First of all, the unit is tiny... it holds a little over a cup of water so you're filling it about every 4 hours. Not a big problem but if you're busy, you might forget about it running. Anyway, I always kept mine filled. The first 2 days, it worked fine. It misted with no problems and the essential oils are very nice. On January 16th, things took a turn for the worse. The mister stopped working and the light died. Now the only way to get it started was to open it up and tap the insides with a pen. Now my cute little gadget has become a pain to use. I really expected something that would run longer than 4 days before it died. Don't waste your money on this. Go with something better, like the Homedics Breathe. I did.... it'll be here next week.
Product Review: Didn't Work ! Summary: 1 Stars
Me and my mother each bought one of these. And one of them worked for 1 day, and the other didn't work at all. My mom took her's back to GNC where it was purchased. And got another one...got it home plugged it in and it didn't work. I took mine back and got another and it worked again for maybe 2 days and then did not work at all.
I called the company, left a message with someone to call me back and never got any response. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME !
Product Review: Didn't Work For Me Summary: 1 Stars
I read the reviews on this item and bought it in spite of the comments about it quickly ceasing to work. I should have known better. Apparently there are techniques that can be used to keep ultrasonic units like this one (and certain humidifiers) working. I'm not somebody who wants to spend a lot of time maintaining high maintenance equipment. Thus I ran this unit on and off for a few weeks. It worked great. I did no maintenance. After a relatively short period, say a month or less, it stopped working. Probably if I'd spent some time keeping the ultrasonic pad clean or something it'd be fine. But I didn't and won't. I'm looking at air diffusers now. They seem to not have the maintenance issue nor the 'set your house on fire' issue of candle diffusers. Hopefully, they'll work better for me. But as for this diffuser, I'd suggest buying it only if you're comfortable keeping ultrasonic equipment working over time. And that's the optimistic view, assuming that it was a maintenance issue, not a real malfunction.
Product Review: Didn't last long Summary: 3 Stars
Nice size, pretty lights. However, it stopped working after 6 month....
I was too busy taking care of my new born baby and didn't check how the warranty works....
