As one that has decided a blade was just not cutting it anymore due to constant irritation, I have to say this one does a nice job of keeping me smooth enough for the wife, but not so close as to burn my face. The wet/dry is really nice and the first time I tried a wet shave, I actually got razor burn. I can use this razor every day with no problems and keep it clean with a quick rinse. As for charging...I haven't recharged in almost a full month, so battery life is very good. I'm happy with it.
